Guess which rose Ispahan or Clytemnestra

Clytemnestra Climbing Rose

I give up in uploading too many pictures at the same time. I do not know how to make the pictures move and stay where I want them to. I will have to do that one at a time. It takes longer but if it helps, I have to do it.
Ispahan damask rose is much bigger and has more petals. Clytemnestra climbing rose has sweeter fragrant even lot of blooms out at once it still will not be heady as Ispahan I wonder why.

Dutch Irises Pictures

I have Miss Saigon and Tiger Dutch Iris which I was not sure. Anyway, I was glad that I planted some because they look gorgeous! Of course, the roses bloomingtime is over and I do need some flowers still blooming to keep me happy. Wait the Fragrant Cloud rose is still in heavy bloom. I was hoping that I still have some flowers to harvest and put on display when I go to the Koi Mountain Soap Show next Friday. It is too bad but I will think of something. I have plenty of plant and can be put on display with the right combination, hopefully. These pictures were taken yesterday. They all in full bloom, but it seems that I am the only one that see them. Indeed, it is too bad. Ah, also my car park in front of our house so no-one can see them unless I have to go somewhere but I rarely go anywhere.
Time to go outside to see if I have more blooms.

Black and White

Jordan took Jamie's bear as her own for napping while Jamie was in bed snooze away. I changed the poppy into black and white picture which seemed to highlight the eyes much better. Jamie always sleeps with at least a toy in bed with her. Sometimes all of the toys that she plays for the day and she cannot be part with any of them.

Koi Mountain Summer Show

This is the place sponsor and responsible to bring people together for the show. I was told there were three young women ran the show and this was their first show. I thought that I heard of this for a long time ago. Many loving earth and being natural as possible. I wonder how they found out about us and do search on itsy website locally. I had not wonder and search thoroughly on the web.
Sunday will be on Beethoven Church I think. There will be a pianist guy play Beethoven music and this is a very popular place with many patrons willing to buy if you have good things.

Artist @ Work

I tried to be creative as much as I can in daily life. Of course, I have to make it safe and productive; otherwise, it is a waste of time and make a day longer than necessary. I would be much happier if I do not feel like rush into doing anything. I feel that I can be productive and faster and much enjoy my work no matter how much tidiest or bad it is. Let our beholder to make the judgment how are these pictures. Please make a comment of reason why you like or do not like. Any comment would be good.
I like my shadowy poppy. I was thinking shadow lover but it did not look like it.
The tiger lily looks much lovelier when close up and portrait as a tall stalk and taken from the ground up in order to see the petals and septals.

Bloom Bloom Bliss MidSpring!!!

I have only one orange tiger lily seems to be alive and in bloom. It is pretty when it is tall; this is the skinniest and shortest lily I ever have. I am so glad that I have some dutch irises because they are so beautiful when blooming all at once. I am hoping that I have enough flower to cut and put on the show which I do not have to buy anything. This is the reason I brought and planted lot of them so I will always have flowers in blooming and different from everyone. My yellow Southern Bell is blooming and the only three of roses from Jackson and Perkins alive.
My backyard is still just dust, dry sandy/rock, weed, poop, urinate traces, and 30 rock for the raise bed! It should not consider a back yard, but it should consider wasted land. I am hate to say that I cannot upload all 5 pictures at the same time to save me time; it always seems to fail. I wonder why. I used to have geocity which had every good upload system and fast! I hate to wait just for the pictures to upload one at a time!
I have annual red poppy which I save the seed pods for my deco art flower arrangement. Pink Jasmines are the new addition this Spring very short and young and have strong fragrance. The pink rose is Ispahan which has a light sweet perfume but if there are enough bloom will make a heady fragrance. I do not know whether anyone know or like guava fragrance. I wonder anyone ever smell the leaves of the Lantana and tell me what it smells like. I have Confeti Lantana's leave smell like--yes, you have guess where I am going with this--guava!

Good News!!! We will be on a show on June 4 to 6 Friday to Sunday

I am going to wrap 300+ soap of all types that we have to be ready for the up coming art and craft festival. We have to pay $54 for three days which hoping that it will bring more money to worth the time I will be off at work. I have to ask for three days off because I am working those days. I am the saler. I got the pitch and people could not resist not to stop by a charming saler :)

My partner did not make any sale from the last time. He just seemed like standing there and looking pretty. He did not even invite any pass by to stop and smell the fragrant or even to look at the beautiful paper and our logo. Our soaps unmistakable have very strong fragrance that as soon as someone enter the room they can smell it immediately. However, it is hard to separate or to tell which fragrance one smell.

I am better get moving because those soaps do not wrap themselves in beautiful Japaneses paper and other hand make papers. They need final touches and only I can do that.

Walk Jamies & Jordan to see Gardening Block Party

I saw my neighbor was working on their yard during my walk with the girls. I was glad there still people care for their yard and house. One of them was planting a rose; the one down the block was weeding. My neighbor put the soil back back to the hole that they created to put more trash on an absent owner property who owned the whole nine yard long of the back of everyone back yard wall. I do not know how does that property work out but everyone has been using to put trash in it except us. We do not understand how can someone be so irresponsible and greedy enough to trash that place because it looks bad then your own neighborhood looks like drug, violent and thugs living. I have to admit it gives me a chill if I walk by the back of my back yard street.

I am glad that I walk Jordan and Jamie today this early so they take a nap and relax so I can have time to write this; otherwise, they keep coming in and out of the room to me for attention, love and importantly, treat and lot of treats please!
I went to PetSmart to exchange the training collar which was a little too big for Jamie who does not mind it and it helps to keep her in check. She is a bit over weight so she has more power to drag me while we walking. With it around her neck, she walks like a good dog who looks back at me every once in awhile like saying "I am good uh mama!" yeah like a kid she is.

Everyone in the whole neighborhood has a dog that barks at anything and when other dogs bark; they all join in--almost--harmony noise!!!. Jamie and Jordan are smarter; thus, bark only at the people walk by the house.

Last Year Front Yard

This was all I have for last year in middle of September or a bit early because of the dahlia blooming which always indicated late summer. The Jackson & Perkins roses did not come up so I had six empty spot in the yard. I tried to make the front look nice and full of flower or at least a loving home of people who wanted to live here. Anyway, I just moved here in May of 2009. The yard had weed plastic cover and gravel on top which was a quick make over for the house. This house used to have a gray purplish wall and red blood gravel after the make over the neighbor would not believe the transformation. WOW! from everyone who knew what this house looked like. I have some compliment from the yard this year also but it is all in progress. I planted the morning glory way to late in June/July so I did not have any seed. I did enjoy the continuous bloom though.

The Forgotten Roses

I had a lot of roses but I had to give them up when I moved. I lost Double Delight, angel, and one more but I forgot the name. Double Delight rose had big blossom, bi-color: red and white, the smell is delightful, the tree is up right and vigorous, and the leaves were dark green. The Angel face rose bloom was purple, smell of strong citrus, and the petals could with stand the heat of the dessert. The rose was more of spreading habit and grew straight up. There was one more rose but I could not recall what was its name.
I brought Abraham Darby, David Austin's rose, apricot, yellow, and tint of pink. The pinker and/or richer the apricot color the stronger the fragrance of rich fruity and spicy--a little. The more yellow the blossom the less fragrance it has. Another rose is Crystallize rose which has high point white--almost pure white-- bloom which barely has any scent. Sweet Honey rose does smell like its name. I forgot the last rose name but by looking at the right you can see that it is beautiful as it has a slight sweet scent that is hard to detect.

To Be Raised Bed front yard or not to be

I planted dahlias border which is really short and can barely see even from inside the house. One of dahlias has beautiful bloom right now; the other one is trying to recover from depot being in the ground. I planted both at the same time.
The west side of the front yard get lot of sun and very hot; the other side is pretty much shady which I love! I finally plant Camellia, Azalea, Rhododendron, and Gardenia.
I forgot how to use the Adobe Photoshop to brighten and sharper the image. Oh, well. I have to wait till my teacher get home.

I have Camellia: Sensation, Maria Ave, and Tom Knudsen which all from Home Depot. I was ecstatic when I saw them plus they are huge and much cheaper than ship from a nursery. I need to get Camellia sinensis var. sinensis Small Leaf Tea and another with pink flower.
Winter Garden, Camforest is the best except that the cost of shipping is as much as a plant to my town. Raintree Nursery has many sections that include exotic and from far away land. I ordered many fruit trees from them. They have huge tea tree for less than Camforest.

I hear nothing from the Rogue Valley Rose about my complain. I hope they response soon at least some thing like drop a line ask what can they do for me or clarify what I want.

The middle is the front porch which has less sun so I want to plant azalea and Rhododendron. The camellia may need to be inside during the coldest of the winter. They may bloom inside; thus, I believe that will be more entertaining. I forgot I have another camellia: Marie Bracey, which bloom before Thanksgiving, but it stop and started again after Thanksgiving when the weather was chill/frost to pass new year but not pass Valentine Day.
I want to have a raised bed so that I can see flower when I sit inside with the window shade up or a bent enjoying the cool air. The porch is the coolest and warm without sun except early morning. I have to rethink about this because I use lava rock with moss around the tree as border as in Japanese maple. These lava rock do not stack very well. I found some interesting lava rock with moss.
Moss Acres. I got a few moss but I did not water them so they died or they did not have enough moisture even on a shady porch. I have to find new moss for my zen garden.

Koi Mountain Rose Soap Picture

I thought that since these soap is rose fragrant and I had lot of roses in bloom why not take the picture along with real rose. I forgot to take the picture of soap in the pink wrap paper.

Got the Baking Notebook! Rose Pictures

This dish is Salmon Mint with Walnut Raspberry
Vinaigrette (salad dressing) and a little Cajun spice which work well with fish. There is garlic olive oil and a flash of lemon juice.
I only remembered to get 16 oz of salmon last night along with painter tape to line the soap mold, and AA battery for the camera to take picture of the soap. I forgot the sour dough bread for today French toast! I had to make a 5 mile trip to get the good bread from Smith. There is one Mexican's supermarket but the place is always loud from the music and weekend the place always pack. I rarely went to this supermarket. There are only two of these supermarkets in town.
I was in a hurry to make the breakfast that I forgot to take the picture. I used three eggs, 3 tablespoon of milk, 1/8 tsp salt, a pinch of cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg. 1/2 tsp vanilla because I do not like the smell of egg when I eat. Cinnamon should overcome the smell but I do not like the strong smell of cinnamon much. Cinnamon bun is good but whenever I make it, I do not put much cinnamon and sugar at least for myself. I use 4 1/2 bread to make 4 1/2 French toast for two. I was not able to eat much this morning.
In order to get the Baking Notebook, I had to travel to my boyfriend's parents' house 45 minutes to go to the barn and search for it. I was luck this time to find it because I tried the last time I could not find it.
I had a good night sleep, except that I woke up with a cold that my voice change to croaked. Jordan wanted a share of the bed when everyone was sleeping. She made Jamie moved for her to get a good spot. Jamie went up and slept between us; thus, she moved most of my top cover down. I had only a layer of blanket so I got cold. I do not understand why I should got cold because that layer is the white goose down; perhaps, I did not have the whole thing cover around my body but just my chest.

The red rose is the Fragrant Cloud the smell is sweet and strong. To me it smell delightful. The cottage Old English cabbage like rose is Shasta rose. I think it is one of David Austen Rose which I admire and want to grown as much as possible in the yard.because they smell great and they are gorgeous!
I am baking rib in the oven right now. It had been marinated for an hour. I cleaned out the silver lining skin so that the meat can get much of the marinated sinking in to be tasty. I used virgin olive oil, garlic and onion powder, salt and lot of cracked pepper, Spanish balsamic vinegar, a little Worcestershire powder, and ginger powder. I set the oven @425 degree for 20 minutes, 400 degree for 20 minutes the rest will be 350 degree 25
minutes.
